Oil Portraits

My oil portraits draw inspiration from old masters in their reliance upon solid drawing skills and deliberate brushstrokes, alongside a deep technical understanding of the mechanics of the medium. However, I digress from tradition with my bold color palettes and overt eroticism; drawing inspiration from great contemporary painters such as Doron Langberg, Salman Toor, and Gisela McDaniel, I break the mold of classical portraiture and draw the viewer into my own vibrantly tactile and transcendent fantasy.
